Jooli Atkins is the heart of Matrix FortyTwo. Her philosophy and passion shape the business on a daily basis. Jooli has been working in the IT Profession for almost 30 years, mostly in IT training. She founded Matrix FortyTwo an Institute of IT Training (IITT) Gold Standard Training Provider to deliver bespoke IT training solutions to clients, as well as providing consultancy and project management.
Her personal passion is developing others and Matrix FortyTwo runs a trainer development programme, Excellent Learning Facilitation, which was the first to be accredited by the IITT for their TPMA programme and has hundreds of graduates across a range of industries and organisations in the UK from the NHS to Yahoo!.
As a Fellow of both the BCS and IITT and chair of the BCS Information and Technology Training Specialist Group she gives much of her time to promoting the interests of IT training both within and outside of the profession, through writing and presenting. She regular volunteers her skills and experience as a judge for industry awards, including the UK IT Industry Awards and E-Learning Awards. She is author of books and many articles for online sites and printed magazines, as well as a regular blog for the BCS and Matrix FortyTwo site. Jooli has been involved in many IT and business change projects over many years in sectors ranging from Financial Services, Utilities, NHS, Local Government and Manufacturing.
